Bailouts, Cap & Trade, socialized medicine, government takeover of auto companies. The list of new or proposed big government programs goes on and on. Democrats and Republicans have been leading this country down the path to financial ruin for decades. Feel like you are watching a train wreck?

Missourians, now more than ever, need to hear the libertarian message of freedom, liberty, free markets and peace.

Earlier this month the Missouri Libertarian Party published our Show Me Freedom Newsletter. The newsletter was printed newspaper style with eight pages and mailed to over 3,000 Missourians. A total of 5,000 copies were printed. The 2,000 extra are being handed out at the State Fair, County Fairs and other outreach events.

Printing and mailing the Show Me Freedom Newsletter cost $1500.00. That is less than fifty cents per person to print and mail the newsletter.

That doesn't sound like much, but with our monthly expenses for phone, internet and mailings our monthly budget is tight. In addition the party has expenses for booths at events like the State Fair and other outreach events. Finally, the Missouri Libertarian Party needs to raise money for the 2010 election so Missourians can hear our message of freedom, liberty, free markets and peace.
