2008 Heartland Libertarian Conference - Libertarian Presidential Candidate Debate
Six of the seventeen candidates for the Libertarian Party Presidential nomination
participated in a debate at the 2008
Heartland Libertarian Conference in Kansas City April 5th.
In his keynote address, former Republican Congressman Bob Barr, who switched
to the Libertarian Party in 2006 and now serves on the Libertarian Party
National Committee, announced the formation of an exploratory committee for
a possible run for President as a Libertarian.
The Libertarian Party will select its candidate for President at the
2008 National Libertarian Party Convention
to be held May 22-26, 2008 in Denver, CO. The Missouri Libertarian Party will be
sending a full delegation of 22 Missourians to the National Convention.
Thanks to Mike Ferguson of Grandview, MO and Rob Hodgkinson, Kansas Libertarian Party
State Chair for organizing a great event. Special thanks to our own David White
for his great work taping and producing these videos.
