Libertarians Win Three Of Five Municipal Elections April 3rd

Libertarians in Missouri won three out of five races in municipal elections
held April 3rd in Missouri.
Doug Burlison won a seat on the Springfield City Council. This was his second run
for the Springfield City Council. Two years ago he lost with 46% of the vote but came
back this year and won with 52% of the vote. Springfield is the third largest city in
Missouri. This is a huge victory for libertarians in Missouri!
Michael Ferguson won a race for Director of the Jackson County Public Water
Supply District #1, Sub-district 2.
Joel Stoner was elected as a Macks Creek Alderman.
Former Mayor of Chillicothe Jeff Foli lost his bid to regain that position.
Foli had won three elections before, twice for Mayor. Foli had 27% of the vote
in a partisan election.
Don Benski received 35% of the vote in a losing bid for Jennings City Council
Ward 2.
