After a period of dormancy, the Jefferson County Central Committee has revived itself.

On September 12th about 20 people attended a general county meeting in Fenton at the Ponderosa restaurant. Attendees included Mary Anne Gassmann, former chair and leader for many years in Jefferson County.

Speakers included Tamara Millay, Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate and Greg Tlapek, Executive Director of the Missouri Libertarian Party.

The interest spawned a follow up organizational meeting on November 16 in Cedar Hill at Sorelli’s Pizza Parlor. At that meeting committee people for the County were named.

Jefferson County has 13 committee men and women from all areas of the County. Their names have been submitted to the County Clerk and State Committee.
